November: Geology EELE

NOVEMBER 26, 2008. Kings Mountain, NC. You will explore the rock formations (including soils) and interpret the geological history of the park by using your observational skills. You will also learn how the plants and animals of the park depend on the geology, and you will discuss related environmental issues. Bring a bag lunch, and be prepared for indoor and outdoor activities. Space is limited to 20 participants, so please contact Glen George or Larry Hyde at the park for more information.
