History Camp
The Rowan Museum, Inc. will conduct a Summer History Camp for children in June, July and August of 2012.
Participants will explore different
aspects of Rowan’s early history.
The camp will educate, involve and
excite campers about local history through daily journals, games, crafts, study and exploration of historic sites in the community, including all of the
museum’s sites:

1819 Utzman Chambers House
1854 Old Courthouse Museum
Summer History Camp is for students in rising third through fifth grades, and rising sixth through eighth grades.

ELEMENTARY
(Rising third through fifth grades)
Session 1
Monday June 25 – Friday June 29
9:00 am—2:00 pm
Session 2
Monday July 9—Friday July 13
9:00 am—2:00 pm
Session 3
Monday August 6— Friday August 10
9:00 am—2:00 pm
MIDDLE SCHOOL
(Rising sixth through eighth grades)
Monday July 23– Friday July 27
9:00 am—2:00 pm
FEES
(includes t-shirt, snacks, and supplies)
Elementary
$140 per week, per camper
$120 per camper for museum members
Middle School
(includes one overnight)
$150 per week per camper
$130 per camper for museum members
