Civil Rights Exhibit: “Mama, why does the water have a color?”
 
Visit the museum to experience events that occurred in the lives of several individuals during the Civil Rights era during the late 1950s to the early 1970s in Rowan County. Hear about the moments some have experienced in local businesses, schools, and neighborhoods.  This exhibit will be on display at the museum until December 2016.
